So here's the scoop. We've put together a very informal fun face series here at Travis call ed the SNORT. Quite simply, those interested in racing subscribe to the Austin Windsurfclub-race message board (found here) or email us directly and we'll add you to a direct email post list. When the winds right or the mood takes us, we scramble the team and head for the lake.
We do try and run realistic race scenarios over a pre-defined course. Sometimes we do need to get a little inventive with the starts (no one wants to float out the race and be the starter pin :-). The idea is to have fun, push your sailing a bit and learn to sail faster.
Results from each race will be posted on the ASW blog (check it out here) and will be officially correlated on the results section below (XLS files)
